Land of the Rising Sun..

Last month's shenanigans in the Land of the Rising Sun where Tim and i spent 18 days visiting different parts of Japan including Takayama, Mount Fuji, Kyoto and lastly Tokyo.

We started off in Takayama where we visited lots of shrines, danced in snow and engulfed ourselves with their famous Hida beef.. Shuffling between destinations were made easy by Changi Recommend's Japan Rail Way Passes, the most economical way to get around Japan conveniently. It caters only to tourists and can only be purchased outside of Japan. If you are planning to cover a comprehensive range of locations, you will find that the JR pass will be helpful for a safe and comfortable train ride to anywhere from Tokyo, Hokkaido, Osaka and more.

Being a fan of cruises, we decided to hop on one of Changi Recommends Attractions - the Tokyo's Symphony Cruise for a unique dinner buffet experience. We were considering either Universal Studios Osaka or the Symphony cruise but we chose the latter. We simply couldn't resist buffets!
